Settling in

Starting nursery can feel emotional for both children and parents. We offer every new child complimentary settling-in sessions before their official start date. View our settling in policy.

Your child can attend short visits alongside a parent or carer.

Children become familiar with the nursery environment and begin forming trusting relationships.

Opening hours

Both nurseries open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Early start from 7:45am may be available, subject to availability.

Attendance

Children are required to attend a minimum of two days per week.

This must include either a Monday or Friday as part of their regular pattern.

Closures

We close on bank holidays, between Christmas and New Year, and for up to three staff training days per year.

Funding and fees

Little Cherubs accepts government-funded early education entitlements and can help families understand the funding they may be eligible for.

2-year-old funding

Eligible children may receive 15 funded hours during term time, subject to local authority criteria.

3 and 4-year-old funding

All three and four-year-olds are entitled to 15 funded hours from the term after their third birthday.

30 hours funding

Eligible working families may access up to 30 funded hours per week over 38 weeks of the year.

Payment options

Fees are payable in advance on the 1st of each month and are calculated on a termly pro-rata basis.
